A nice Photo Manipulation
In this tutorial we have created as nice photo manipulation tutorial. For this tutorial you need some basic knowledge of photoshop for this tutorial. In example you’ll need to know how to change blending options and adding gradients.
Here is the preview:

So take a nice photo to have as background. I used a photo of a beach.

Then take a nice photo of a human. I used a picture of a woman. Cut it out and paste it into your document. You’ll need to rezise the woman so it doesn’t look out of place.

Now to make the woman fit in better. Change the contrast of the background a little.

Then add a black and white gradient map. Lower the opacity of it to around 50 or what you feel looks best. This will tone down the colors a bit.

Now we’re going to add a ’mist effect’. So make a new layer. the take the gradient tool and use these settings:
![]()
Then from the bottom, hold your mouse and drag upwards to the middle. Change this layer style to soft light.

Do the same thing again, but this time just lower the opacity of the layer to around 50.
Again do the same thing, but his time drag just a bit at the bottom. Lower the opacity of this layer to around 67

Now we are going to make it look older. So make a new layer and select the whole layer (ctrl+a). Then take the rectangular marquee tool and right click anywhere in the document. Press fill. Then select pattern. And use any of the patterns that are there. I used a pattern I found by google it. If you don’t know how to make your own patter, there are many tutorials on that.
So when you’ve filled the layer with a pattern, set it to soft light and erase at some places where you don’t want it.
Make a black and white gradient map and leave it on normal.

Now we’re gonna fill a new layer with a pattern. This time you can either use the same or another pattern. I used another pattern.

Now we’re gonna add some minor colors to this. You do this by making a colorbalance layer. I made it blue.

Then make some final adjustments and you’re done.

Hope you enjoyed this Manipulation.
