Add few Lighting Effects to your Image
I like to add some extra to my portrait, rather than a simple, normal, boaring image. hare are some few techniques to add some lighting effects to a portrait.
Have a nice portrait and open with photoshop.
I found it on sxc.hu

I have made it black and white for my effect.
Go to image->Adjustment->Hue/saturation


Add a new layer, rename the layer light blue.
Set forground color light blue
select gradient tool.
Select radial gradient

Drag it on the layer.

Decrease the opacity to 70% and move with move tool

Now, add another new layer.
Do same as before, but this time with oink color.

Another layer of yellow color.

Now add a new layer above the girl but below all gradient layer.
Name it ‘Black’.
Fill with black color.

Go to layet->Layer style->Blending option
Give the settings:


Decrease the fill 0% and opacity to 30%

Add vector mask to the layer and paint at centre like this:

Add a new layer again above this layer and do same processe with another pattern:

Now add a new layer at top.
Select eliptical marque tool and draw a circle like this.
Selet gradient tool, Linear gradient.
set foreground color white.

Now, decrease the opacit to 30%

Add some more circles of different sizes.

Add some sparkles with brush.
