Add some lighting effects. Here is the tutorial.

Open the portrait with photoshop.

Cut from original background.

Add a gradient background.

Select 2 color as you like for gradient background.  

Select gradient tool

give the settings:

We will get this:

Add some outer glow to the model

select model layer

Go to layer->Layer style->Outer glow

Add a new layer.

Give the layer name ‘Beam1′

Select pen tool

Select paths from toolbar

Draw a path like this:

Save path as path1

Select brush, set foreground color white.

select the path

select stroke path

give the setting at stroke path dialog box

deselect path.

erase some portions to make it around the girls.

Go to layer->layer style->outer glow

copy the beam layer twice and move to place it properly.

Select a soft round brush.

give brush settings:

Ad dotts.

Add a new layer.

Add some bubble brushes.
