We can add some star shine effects to a portrai to make the portrait glow. Specially it looks good on little girls portrait. Let’s try :)

Open the original photo with photoshop.

Copy background layer.

Select background copy layer and go to Filter->Distort->Diffusion glow

Give the settings:

We will get this:

Add a new layer

Open Brush set and select swirl design brush.

If you do not have, you can download swirl brush from here

Select foreground color white and brush swirl designs as you like.

The go to Layer->Layer style->Outer glow

Give the settings:

Press Ok

lessen the opacity of new layer

If you like, you can add more swirl design.

Now add another new layer.

Select rose brush from brush set

put a rose on girl’s hair. Give some outglow from Layer->Layer style->outer glow

Now merge all layer.(select top most layer, and press ctrl+e until w get inly one layer.)

Duplicate the layer.

select duplicate layer

Go to Filter->Render->Lighting Effects

Press Ok

Add a new layer.

Open brush tool

Select the brush

Set foreground color white

brush around the girl

Go to layer->layer style->Outer glow

Give the settings

Lessen the opacity of the layer

And we are done
