This is a photoshop to create a dirty grunge poster effect with photoshop.

Find a stock photo to use.

Open a new document with photoshop.

Fill it ASH gradients.

Now cut the Model and paste on the background.

Go to Image->Adjustments->Brightness/contrast

We will get this image:

Now change the blending mode of the model layer from normal to Darken

We will get this:

Now, copy the model layer.

Add a new layer between two model layer and rename as light beams

Now select the star brush from brush window.

Brush this on light beam layer.

Set foreground color white.

Duplicate the layer.

Press ctrl+T

Right click and select rotate.

Selct the corners and rotate a little

Press Enter.

Just like that, repeat the process.

duplicate and rotate several times.

Merge all beam layers.

select eraser and erase the beams from model’s face and body.

Merge all layers together.

duplicate the only layer.

Go to image->Adjustment->curves

Change settings to get an effect like this:

Add a new layer.

Select splash brishes and some with black color

Merge all layers.

Add a new layer.

select reddish background color.

Change the blending mode of the layer to ‘Overlay‘

We will get our final look.
