It is very easy to draw dreamy landscape scene with Photoshop using Photoshop brushes. Here is the tutorial.

First of all, you need to load some photoshop brushes for this tutorial.

Brushes we need:

  • Grass Brush
  • Mountain Brush
  • Cloud Brush
  • Water brush
  • Bubble brush

Search, find them and load them.

We will also need some stock photo of Swan (white Duck).

Open a nerw Document with photoshop.

Set foreground color and Background like this: 

Now go to Filter->Render->Cloud 2 times

We will get this:

Add a new Layer    

Open brush set and Select a mountain layer

Set foreground color ‘Dark greenish’

Place the brush like this. (Use ‘{‘ to decrease the brush size and ‘}‘ to increase brush size)

Now select Erase tool (press E) and erase the portion of mountain unnecessary.

Add a new layer again and select Water brush from Brush set.

Set foreground color light blue 

Add water brush like this:

Now set foreground color light green and select grass brush and brush it like this:

Select the mountain Layer, Select burn tool 

Paint over the mountain to darken it

Open Brush set, select cloud brush, set foreground color whitish and add a little cloud.

Open swan images with Photoshop

Resize them (width 150 pixels)

Drag the swan images over our document like this:

Add Vector mask to the both layer of Swan

Set foreground color Black and Background white like this:  

Select Soft round brush and paint around the Swan for both layer of Swan

We will get this:

Now add another new layer

Select bubble brush and brush it.

we are done

Merge all layers, and save as jpeg format.

If you like you can add some light effects to the image.
