Making Object Pop Out of Frame using Photoshop

After Extruding Object.
In this tutorial i am going to show you how to make your object pop out of your frame using photoshop.
Step1: Open your desired image

Select and open image.
Step2: Create a new layer, using your marquee tool, create a square that will overlap your object. Once you have created your square, invert your selection (select>inverse). Fill the area with your desired border color.
After your border has been filled with the appropriate color, drage the border layer to below your picture layer

Fill the area with your desired border color.
Step3: Select the picture layer. Hold and select the border layer to load the border layer’s selection.
With the selction active and the picture as the curretn layer, create a layer mask (layer>layer mask>reveal selection). This will mask the picture where the border is present.

Create a layer mask.
Step4: Select the layer mask and with the brush selected, begin to paint away the area of the mask that covers your object that you wish to extrude. This is a bit tricky, so take your time and get it right.

Select the layer mask with brush selection.
Step5: Now, create a new layer and move it to below the picture layer but above your border layer. Make sure that black is your foreground color. Using your brush tool (make sure you have a hard brush), start painting the area that is going to extrude. Basically, you’re creating a shadow. After you have vreated the shadow, apply a gaussian blur to the layer (filter>blur>gaussian blur)

Apply a Gaussian Blur to the Layer.
Step6: Use the move tool, offset your shadow so that it creates a sense of depth in the picture

Use the Move tool, Offset shadow.
