Glittering Heart Design-Photoshop Tutorial
We will create a animated glittery heart shape with Photoshop. Here is the tutorial
Start by applying a nice gradient to background. Create “heart” shape using custom shape tool.
Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Apply inner shadow, outer glow and Bevel and Emboss effect
From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Select and merge all the resulting layers.
Change the layer mode to “Luminosity” from top of the layer palette.
Duplicate the layer. From “Filter” menu select “Blur>>Radial Blur”.
Move this layer below the “heart” layer in layer order in layer palette.
From layer menu select layer style>>create layers. Select and merge all the resulting layers.
Change the layer mode to “Luminosity” from top of the layer palette.
Duplicate the layer. From “Filter” menu select “Blur>>Radial Blur”. Set Amount 100, zoom, and quality best.
Move this layer below the “heart” layer in layer order in layer palette.
Create a new layer. Apply a black to transparent gradient in radial mode.
Create a new layer. Select a “black to white gradient”. Change the gradient mode to difference. Apply as shown.
Apply the gradient several times as shown.
Change the layer mode to “Color Dodge” from top of the layer palette.
Similarly create more glitter layer with different glitter positions. We create four layers for glitters.
Open animation window. For the first frame unhide only one of the glitter layer.
Keep duplicating frame and hide the previous glitter layer and unhide the next ones.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
