We will create a nice romantic couple illustration with Adobe illustrator cs2. We will use some illustrator brushes and a stock photo of a nice couple. Here is the tutorial.

Open a new document with Illustrator.

now select the rectangle tool

draw a rectangle area, this will be our background. fill with a nice color you like to be as a background.

I have chosen this color

now lock the layer

Add a new layer

Select swirl bush

Give this brush settings:

Select path, and draw a nice curve like this:

now select the swirl you like, set a nice stroke color

Just like this, add some more swirls at different layers and lock them

also add some scatter brush as rainbow path and stars. Use your imazination.

Now open a romantic couple image with photoshop.

Draw outline with as path with pen tool.

After drawing the full path, copy the path and paste it on illustrator document at a new layer.

fill with black color.

we will find a nice couple illustration.

Add some more designs as you like

We are done :D

you can add more effects to illustration. But this is the tutorial for basic illustration.
