In this tutorial we are going to create  a beautiful nature diamond harmony patchwork. This is a nice tutorial i hope you all will like it:)

Here is the preview:

Step-1:

1. Open a canvas size 600 by 500 pixels. Copy and paste in this cloud stock photo and position it where you like. Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen.

Step-2

2. Double click the cloud layer so you open the Layer Styles and click on Gradient Overlay. Match these settings:

Step-3:

3. Go to Image- Adjustments- Color Balance. Match these settings:

Shadows- Color Levels: +15, +16, -24
Midtones- Color Levels: 0, +8, -27
Highlights- Color Levels: +15, +8, -24

Now go to Image- Adjustments- Exposure. Change the Exposure to .1 and the Offset to -.06.

Step-4:

Download this lily picture from sxc.hu (you need a free account for the full-sized image). Copy and paste it into a new photoshop file, then go to Edit- Free Transform. At the bar on the top of the screen, change the W and H (width and height) both to 14%. Now drag the picture back to the center of the canvas and crop so you only see the main flower. Go to Image- Adjustments- Auto Levels.

Step-5:

Find the Magnetic Lasso Tool (you might have to click and hold down the Lasso Tool to see it in the menu). Change the width to 10px, the contrast to 10%, and the frequency to 60. Click somewhere on the edge of the flower to start, and go around the whole flower shape slowly. If you mess up, keep going because you can fix it later. When you get to a tricky spot (like the corners between the petals), click once to put a point there so you can help guide it. When you connect the final point it will look like this:

To fix something, click Add to Selection (two joined boxes) to add a part that got left out, or click Subtract from Selection (two separate boxes) to get rid of an extra piece at the top of the screen. Then click around the part you want added or subtracted to select it. When you’re happy with it, right click and click on Layer Via Cut. Now click on the Move Tool, press control + a, control + c, open up the other file with the clouds, and press control + v. If it pasted in successfully, close the flower file. Position the flower like this:

Step-6:

Double click the flower layer and add these Layer Styles:

Step-7:

Go to Image- Adjustments- Color Balance. Match these settings:

Shadows- Color Levels: +15, +24, -58
Midtones- Color Levels: 0, -20, -45
Highlights- Color Levels: +15, 0, -24

Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen.

Step-8:

Now we’re going to add this peace sign stock photo with the exact same process as the lily flower. Since we don’t need it very large, just copy the preview (you don’t need an account for that). Paste the peace sign into a new file, resize it to 80% with Free Transform, use the Magnetic Lasso Tool to select it out of its background – fortunately, this one is much easier-, right click the selection and click Layer Via Cut, then press control + a (to select the whole canvas) and copy and paste it into the other file. Make sure you move its layer beneath the lily layer in the layers palette!

Step -9:

We want the peace sign to have similar styling to the lily. Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen. Double click the peace sign layer and add these Layer Styles:

Step-10:

Download the full-size version of this diamond crown stock photo and paste it into a new photoshop file like before. Free Transform it down to about the same size as the lily flower. Repeat the same process as above (first select the whole crown and cut it from the background, then select the individual gaps in the crown and delete them one at a time). Paste the crown onto the other file, making sure it is on a layer under the lily, and then add these layer styles:

Go to Edit- Free Transform and move it slightly on an angle. Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen. Go to Image- Adjustments- Color Balance. Match these settings:

Shadows- Color Levels: +15, +31, +22
Midtones- Color Levels: +34, +28, -14
Highlights- Color Levels: 0, 0, -15

Step-11:

Repeat the above process (step 10) for this red flower photo. The preview size is fine because you need to make it about half the size anyway (with free transform). The red flower layer should be above the lily layer.

Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen. Go to Image- Adjustments- Color Balance. Match these settings:

Shadows- Color Levels: +15, +31, +22
Midtones- Color Levels: +34, +28, -14
Highlights- Color Levels: 0, 0, -15

Now duplicate and resize this layer several times to make more red flowers.

Step-12:

Repeat the above process again for these leaves. You need the full-size image (but you have to shrink it down quite a bit, and tilt it on its side). I also erased a few of the stems that are sticking out. This layer should be underneath everything except the cloud background. Use these Layer Styles:

Go to Image- Adjustments- Brightness/Contrast and change the Contrast to -50. Go to Filter- Sharpen- Sharpen. Go to Image- Adjustments- Color Balance. Match these settings:

Shadows- Color Levels: +15, +31, +22
Midtones- Color Levels: +34, +28, -14
Highlights- Color Levels: 0, 0, -15

Step-13:

On a new layer just below the lily flower, add a 300px soft white spot between the crown and lily with a blending mode of Overlay and an opacity of 70%. Make a new layer above everything else and fill it with color #bf8e3c. Change the blending mode to Color and the opacity to 20%. Make a new layer above this set to Overlay and 30% and use a soft 300px brush to make the upper right and lower left corners black, and make a white spot next to the upper right black corner. You’re done!

Hope you enjoyed it:)
