We will create a out of bound photo effect today Here is the tutorial.

First of all have the idea of the image you want to create. You must use your imagination for this. Decide what stock images you will need and find free stocks on net.

I found all my stocks from http://www.sxc.hu/

My stock images are-

  • Wall
  • Photo frame
  • kitten images (3)

Now we will work with thease.

Open all the photos with photoshop.

Now select the wall photo.

Cut and Drag the photo frame images layer on the wall photo.

OK. Now, cut kitten images.

Drag one kitten image like this.

Open another kitten image.

Copy leg and throat at different layers and rename them as leg, throat etc.

drag second kitten image on the image and erase leg. like this

Now drag the leg layer.

Select move tool

press ctrl+T

Select the corners and drag the legs to look like it is out of the frame.

Drag the head layer.

press ctrl+T

Click right button and select distort.

Drag corners a little to increase the size of head.

Drag lip layer and transform to make it a little more bigger.

Select Frame layer.

transform and rotate the layer a little.

Select burn tool.

Add some shades to the kitten.

Drag another one kitten image.

Merge all layers. Add some more shades with Burn Tool.

Go to image->Adjustments

Change the settings of Hue/saturation, color balance and brightness/contrast as you like.

save as jpeg file.
