Brushed metal creeping up on computer interfaces now a days. This tutorial is going to show how to create a very simple brushed metal icon. It uses all of the basic tools in photoshop and can be created in 5 minutes. The image at the centre of the icon can be replaced with any thing you want. I’ve chosen the “i” that is one of the default shapes in Photoshop.
